We will be holding a Registration & Barefoot Bowls evening at Kootingal Bowling Club on Saturday September 25th, commencing at 4.00pm.

All current & prospective members are invited, with kids very welcome.

It will be hot finger food [cost to be advised] & the club bar facilities are available to us.

Come along, register & pay your club membership for the season & have some fun playing barefoot lawn bowls.

Seven [7] of our members raced at the Lake MacQuarie Running Festival at Warners Bay yesterday in fine, sunny conditions on a picturesque, flat course.

Shannon & Jamie Thompson, Mel Moss, Nick Foster & Steve Hoy ran the 1/2 marathon & Bede Maher competed in the 10.5km run.

All had great results, particularly Nick who won his 15-19yrs age group. Nick is Roger & Katrina Foster's son [Black or White Coffee van & Dowe St Cafe].

Newcastle Permanent Building Society were the major sponsor of the event & if you are looking for a well run event look at this one for next year.
